I would just like to say that whenever I see someone using an icon I made for them, it gives me a special little thrill. Not as good as when I used to slide down the rope in gym class, but still.

It's like, with my comic strip, if I was doing it to get praise from others I would have folded in sobbing despair long ago. Hardly anyone EVER says anything about it; the

scandalsheet community is apparently on the World Wide Cobweb, and even when I beg readers to e-mail me, none of them do. The good thing is, I'm NOT doing it for praise from others, so I can keep going.

But when someone goes out of their way to ask me for an official Cheffie LJ Icon, and expresses gratitude when they receive it... and then they actually USE it more than once... well, that's a warming feeling.
