Spit-takus interruptus
I just came SOO close to getting my boss to spray coffee all over the papers on her desk.
She was showing me a little movie of her dog swimming in the pool (her dog is her baby) and I observed that it seemed odd to me that a wet dog isn't nearly as ugly as a wet cat. She said, "Well, my dog is adorable no matter how you slice him."
I waited a beat and replied, "Oh, I don't know. I think if you were to slice him lengthwise it would be pretty unattractive."
She managed to hang onto her mouthful of coffee by sheer grim will and a hand clapped over her mouth. Darn it.
