finally, a herd of sheep I feel like joining.

Most of these are from a collection of cartoon self-portraits I did when I was getting ready to start working on "Scandal Sheet!" and I needed to get back in the habit of cartooning again. Minimal explanations on those, okay?


This is my "angry" icon. I use it when something pisses me off. QED.


My "blushing" icon, for when I'm responding to a compliment or when something embarrasses me. Note: In real life, I do NOT blush. I think my blusher is broken.


My "rolling eyes" icon, for when I think something is stupid.


My "blech" icon, for when I think something is gross or disgusting. This was assembled from several still frames from the self-portrait collection.


My "Huh?" icon, for when I'm asking a question or when something confuses me. Built from the "blank expression" self-portrait, with blinking eyes and question marks added later.


My "Let Me Just Say This About That" icon, for general pronouncements or when I want to make a point. maboo complained originally that he had to sit through it several times to figure out where it started, so I added a blank bit to help people figure that out.


My "editor" icon, for general use. It's my default icon.


My "Devil" icon, for when I'm feeling naughty or making a smartassed remark. Probably SHOULD be my default icon.


My "fatherhood" icon, for parenting posts. This one, with Lil' Miss Sous-Chef, replaced an earlier one of just Chef Jr. and me.

I also have one for cooking entries that was made for me by the beauteous and talented hamadryad, but it's inexplicably missing from my pix list. When I get to work on Monday I'll reinstall it.
